Official Upgrade for Samsung Note Ice Cream Sandwich(ICS)
There are 2 ways to upgrade to ICS :-
1) OTA Download
Note: USE WIFI ONLY. INTERRUPTION IN THIS METHOD CAN DAMAGE THE PHONE
Enable WIFI
Go in MENU >> Settings>>About Phone
Select Check for Updates
Note: Unchecked Auto update option
Now if your have a update it will be installed.
2) Upgrade Via Samsung Kies(RECOMMENDED)
Download Samsung Kies from Here
(Click here if you have error in connecting)
Method
Note: Full charged mobile, Backup all data, secured internet connection(hindrance of internet while updation can cause problem)
1) Download Install Kies
2) Start Kies, Connect your phone
3)Wait till it's detected.
If your having issues connecting click here
4)When mobile is connected, a popup
5) Select update and follow the instruction.
6)Wait till the process end and mobile is updated.
